Position:	Registered Nurse – Permanent Part Time Evenings (1500 – 2300 hrs)

Core Functions:

To work with the Director of Care and Assistant Director of Care to provide supervision and leadership to the staff in the nursing department.

The successful candidate must possess strong leadership skills, combined with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills while demonstrating the ability to oversee the operation of nursing services, under the direction of the Director of Care.

The successful applicant must possess a demonstrated ability in core competencies including excellent coaching and mentoring skills, conflict resolution, quality management and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 – 5 years experience within a long term care facility
• Experience within an unionized environment as asset
• Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Post RN education in gerontology, either as a certificate or diploma preferred
• Must be computer literate in MS Office.
• Experience with Point Click Care Software an asset
